As we approach the end of the academic year we want to let you know what support is in place for you if you have resits or catch up work to do:

  • Your Personal Tutor or Programme Leader will invite you, via your student email account, to some tutor facilitated workshops in order to support you with any reassessments. You will also receive a text message to remind you of the sessions. It is important that you attend any workshops that you are invited to in order to provide the best opportunity to achieve your qualification.
  • We have opened up dedicated study space for you to access between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday. These are UC436 (Creative and Digital students); UC326; UC323; UC219; UC116; UC117. Computers will be available in UC223 and in the UC library. 
  • Don’t forget the Academic Coach – Terry King will be based in UC115 on Mondays and Thursdays between 1pm and 3pm if you need to call in and see him.  This service will be available from the 14th June, or email him for a 1:1 –

Weeks commencing:- 24/05/21, 07/06/21, 14/06/21 and 21/06/21

  • Monday – 8.30am – 7.00pm
  • Tuesday – 8.30am – 7.00pm
  • Wednesday – 8.30am - 6.00pm
  • Thursday – 8.30am – 7.00pm
  • Friday – 9.00am – 4.00pm

Week commencing 31/05/21 (Spring Bank week)

  • Monday & Tuesday – closed
  • Wednesday & Thursday – 8.30am – 4.30pm
  • Friday – 9.00am – 4.00pm

Summer opening hours from week commencing 28/06/21;

  • Monday – Thursday – 8.30am – 4.30pm
  • Friday – 9.00am – 4.00pm

Library resources such as e-books, databases and online journals can also be accessed remotely, available 24/7 by using our Library Services’ Guides available at You will need to log on using your 8 digit student ID and College password.
